And before I forget - the lone sock. Who will forever be doomed to a life of spinsterhood because I chose the wrong type of yarn. Sigh.

perhaps socks simply weren't meant to be paired with just one another sock. all of my socks either end up apart, or just plain worn out. i'm sure your sock will be perfectly happy as a bachelor(ette).
You should give it to someone who has a peg leg. Cuz they probably get offended when people give them socks in pairs...hee hee (I'm sure it's very politically incorrect of me to be laughing about this).
